i drilled +100 holes, installed all 100 mushroom plugs then hammered them down. you then sterilize the installation site and seal the plugs by brushing-on piping hot cheese wax! inoculation takes 6-18 months so we’ve got a while before we actually get to enjoy ‘shrooms from our little log pile, but hopefully it will be worth all the hard work/preparation we put in!
